SUMMARY:Building a Loss and Damage Atlas Driven by Satellite Data for Climate Resilience
DESCRIPTION:In efforts to bolster resilience against the impacts of climate change\, the UAE Space Agency\, in partnership with Planet Labs\, has launched a project to construct an innovative loss and damage atlas driven by satellite data. The project aims to extend technology and expertise to developing countries\, helping them tackle the loss and damage resulting from climate change and facilitate the establishment of early-warning systems. \nThrough this webinar\, you will learn more about the UAE Space Agency’s vision to support transformative initiatives and projects aimed at combating climate change. Project participants will present their developed case studies on the Maldives. This will be followed by a presentation from Planet Labs\, showcasing their platform and analytics.
