Dr. Ajit is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geoscience and Remote Sensing under the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. He completed his Ph.D. from CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, India in the field of aerosol instrumentation in 2019. He then worked as a scientist at Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS), Germany for almost 6 years, where he contributed to the advancement of air pollution monitoring through ground-based and drone-based field campaigns. He has coordinated several projects on air pollution monitoring and atmospheric aerosol research. He has published 30 research papers in various prestigious international journals.
